MG HECTOR PLUS: AN EXCELLENT CAR THAT NO ONE SHOULD BUY ??

MG has recently unveiled their HECTOR PLUS the 7 seater successor to their popular hector which is still in top 15 top-selling cars in INDIA, this hector plus not only looks same but also has the same engine but with that added 2 seats{5 +2} with increasing price, added features and a refreshed look is it capable to take on the likes of its competitor's let's find ;

How does it look?

As said earlier this one looks bit refreshed with that huge signature grill which seamlessly fuses into sleek LEDs and revised bumper the hector plus looks quite decent it feels new and modern still it looks as if it is new overall great sleek modern looks and appealing looks by MG

How is the interior?

The interior on The Hector Plus is still the most premium crafted with a pure leather finish and complemented by the huge 10" inch smart infotainment system digital console neat quality makes the interior much more interesting it just feels premium in every aspect however if you observe neatly there are a lot of hard plastics everywhere on the front end overall its Sureshot head turner and personally quite good.

How is the engine?

The MG Hector Plus comes in three engine options - petrol, diesel, and hybrid petrol. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inter-cooled engine. The 1451-cc engine will deliver a maximum power output of 143 PS and offer a peak torque of 250 Nm.

which is same as before and frankly not quite powerful it feels decent as it is not too strong and perhaps a little less powerful although hybrid petrol is the best pick

SHOULD YOU BUY IT?

Well if you look at it as a product it has enough of everything great looks decent engine good safety with ABS, EBD, TRACTION CONTROL, HILL HOLD, BRAKE ASSIST,4 AIRBAGS AND A LOT MORE. This comes out to be a great package con are high pricing, same engine, and similar looks.

But as you may have understood by the title it is not worth buying as you should think first about your nation when your PM asks you to be ATMANIRBHAR here he somewhat urges you to stop the huge trade imbalance to china, as in mobiles we cannot say much to all Chinese dominated market which is nearly 70 %of whole industry but in automobiles, we have our own native brands like TATA AND MAHINDRA which are simply incredible in quality, or engine in this test alone the hectors rival HARRIER is truly INDIAN and is far better off in terms of quality and when you live in this country you need to be responsible and adopt our local brands it's really time for us to be VOCAL FOR LOCAL.

So by my suggestion even if hector is better we should not go for this as its parent company is SAIC motors are Chinese and a lot of revenue goes to CHINA so this is definitely not the car to buy at all !!!
