Reliance Jio's much-awaited Jio Fiber Broadband service is ready to launch tomorrow i.e 5th of September. The broadband service's data speed varies between 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps.

While there is another confirmation by Jio on its website:-

"As part of our initial roll out, we are offering complimentary JioFiber installation and connection to all our customers. Other than the refundable security deposit, as of now, there are no additional installation charges," as confirmed by Jio in its website

The online registration process for the Jio Fiber has been started by Jio, which has been renamed from Jio GigaFiber to Jio Fiber. Taking it to the speed JioFiber has exceeded the expectations by providing minima of 100 Mbps and a maximum of 1Gbps.

Reliance Jio Fiber broadband services will be available across 1,600 towns from the first day of its commercial launch on September 5.

Plans & Pricing

Jio Fiber broadband plans will begin from ₹700 a month and will go up to ₹10,000 monthly. While there is no official release regarding the precise pricing yet. Earlier, according to a PTI report, a Reliance Jio official had hinted that the cable TV subscription might not be part of the ₹700- ₹10,000 plan.

How To Apply For Jio Fiber??

As of now, there are over 15 million and increasing registration for the Jio Fiber. The telecom operator will now prioritize the localities according to higher interests.

Those who are yet to apply for the Jio Fiber service can express an interest on its website by giving their address.

You only need to fill information like your address, mobile number, email id, etc.

Jio Set Top Box

The Jio Set Top Box can accept TV signals from various LCO partners.

It is expected that the Jio Fiber customers who will opt for annual plans called "Jio-Forever plans" will get a 4K LED television and a 4K set-top-box for free. Jio's plan to screen movies on TV sets on the day of its release is planned to be launched in the middle of next year.
